International Crowdsourcing Event Makes American Debut in D.C.

What: CSW Summit / DC by Crowdsourcing Week will connect people with the latest ideas and best practices in crowd innovation globally. Washington D.C. will be the first American city to host a CSW Summit, joining a list of locations including Brussels, The Arctic Circle, Johannesburg, Singapore, the Philippines and Warsaw.

Who: More than 20 U.S. and international speakers who are transformational innovators, open internet pioneers, champions of citizen science, and enterprise leaders who understand the fundamental shift towards the new crowd economy. They will share how crowdsourcing is reshaping industries and transforming organizations today. They include:

  • Amy J. Wilson, White House Presidential Innovation Fellow
  • Epi Ludvik Nekaj, founder and CEO Crowdsourcing Week
  • Cristin Dorgelo, Open Innovation Expert
  • Maj. Stephen Gerry, acquisition and procurement officer, Department of Defense
  • Amy Kaminski, program executive for prizes and challenges, NASA
  • Michael Contreras, co-founder and director, SensisChallenges
