Marketing Manager

Position Description: 
The Marketing Manager, collaborating with the CEO, VP of Client Development and TARP’s Agency of Record, will develop and implement marketing strategies and tactics to build awareness, fuel lead generation and improve client engagement.
  • Develop and implement TARP’s marketing plan, while overseeing the marketing budget.
  • Maintain brand standards and proper name usage guidelines to ensure consistent
  • messaging internally and within the broader marketplace.
  • Oversee the company’s communication initiatives, including press releases, event
  • announcements, white papers, industry articles, client advisories, advertising and online
  • marketing.
  • Own (design, develop and deploy) the company’s lead generation program through
  • various campaign initiatives, including but not limited to webinars, eNewsletters, email
  • and direct mail campaigns as well as tradeshow sponsorships/activates.
  • Track leads and registration forms for all leads using the company’s CRM systems,
  • maintaining and enhancing the lead generation program by applying changes as
  • needed. Assign leads accordingly per the direction of the CEO.
  • Design, produce and/or direct all aspects of visual marketing needs, including print
  • ads, publications, website development and marketing materials, including materials for
  • seminars and tradeshows.
  • Work with the Management Team to create proper messaging for new product and
  • program rollouts and apply to appropriate areas of marketing.
  • Establish and maintain a close relationship with the Research and Practices Teams,
  • providing effective sales materials, including presentation materials, sales collateral, etc.
  • Manage the company website; implementing call-to-action areas to help boost lead
  • generation (web programming knowledge not required).
  • Maintain the marketing calendar for all campaign/tradeshow activities, ensuring
  • activities align with the annual marketing plan.
  • Maintain company calendar tracking major launch dates and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain a social media presence, staying apprised of all new venues and technologies.
  • Owns overall responsibility and execution of internal marketing calendar and campaign.
  • Effectively work with internal resources and vendors.
Qualifications: 

5-7 years of professional Marketing experience (preferably with supplier and/or agency) and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications/PR. Strong presentation, written and verbal communications skills are a necessity. Preference given for knowledge and/or experience in Customer Satisfaction or Customer Experience Research.

  • Sound knowledge of marketing principles and applicable technologies that can be used toward a wide range of customers.
  • Experience selling and servicing, preferably within the marketing services or information services sector.
  • Self-motivated, able to work under stress to meet project deadlines, while providing
  • attention to every detail from beginning to end.
  • Excellent program and project management skills with demonstrated ability to multitask and set priorities within tight timelines and high customer expectations.
  • Ability to work individually and ability to handle self-driven projects efficiently.
  • Conversant with writing, business procedures and email correspondences.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to establish good relations with all levels of employees.
  • Develop a strong knowledge of products, applicable to the industry and TARP.
  • Develop knowledgeable of TARP’s “sweet spot” and proper messaging for our customers.
  • Time management, fixing priorities, organizing skills, attentiveness, accuracy in
  • performance and understanding the sense of urgency.
  • Statistical knowledge for analyzing web and email systems and other data for
  • suggesting quick solutions for the challenges of growing a company.
  • Superior presentation skills and strong spoken language for responding to questions
  • from sales managers and clients.
  • Proficient and/or knowledgeable in:
                      o Microsoft Office Programs: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
                      o Online Delivery Platforms, Particularly WebEx/Webinar
                      o CRM (Customer Service Management Systems), SalesForce preferred
                      o Design Programs (Photoshop, Illustrator a Plus)
                      o Web Software / Services (Constant Contact and WordPress)
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex, technical and business concepts and express clearly.
  • Flexible and open to changing priorities.
