Communications Committee Volunteer Positions

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then the DC Ad Club has an incredible volunteer opportunity for you! Our Communications Committee is currently seeking volunteers to help keep the DC Ad Club community connected through social media and e-marketing. The communications team creates sharable content and promotes high-value events, programs, and services benefitting the advertising professions throughout the DC area. We’re looking for a few dedicated individuals with all ranges of experience to fill the following volunteer positions: Art Director Expert in graphic design producing all creative assets for communications campaigns. Works closely with Creative Director. Designer Provides support to the Art Director. Copywriter Writes copy for emails, websites, handouts, etc. Works closely with Creative Director. Social Media Manager Manages social media profiles. Works with administrative staff to create content and monitor social media sites. PR Specialist Developers earned media plan. Reaches out to members of the media about events (and post-event successes). Engages influential bloggers and web communities. Works closely with Account Manager.
