Marketing Specialist

Position Reports To: 
Director, Brand Shipping
Position Description: 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Assists in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns and initiatives in support of revenue goals.
  2. Conducts revenue and forecasting analysis for new and existing business. Calculates revenue volume, price elasticity and returns on investments.
  3. Assists in researching and writing business cases to support proposed marketing campaigns and strategies. Incorporates research findings into new and existing marketing programs and strategies.
  4. Assists in developing and implementing marketing programs.
  5. Works to develop effective working relationships with business partners and internal organizational entities.
  6. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to develop and integrate customer/channel specific sales support materials targeted at customers and consumers.
  7. Assists in developing and implementing special marketing and promotional opportunities to targeted customer and consumer segments and ensure integration across the entire marketing mix.
Qualifications: 

Successful candidates must demonstrate through a combination of education, training, and experience the following requirements:

  1. Knowledge of revenue analysis, forecasting, and tracking methodologies to determine the effectiveness of revenue generation programs.
  2. Knowledge of marketing principles and procedures.
  3. Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing to prepare reports.
  4. Ability to apply logical thinking sufficient to gather data, analyze trends, identify solutions and make decisions and formulate plans.
  5. Ability to develop and foster effective relationships with internal and external partners sufficient to provide recommendations and feedback.
  6. Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment to prioritize and complete assignments.
