Digital Trends 2015: How Consumer Expectations are Evolving in a Multi-Screen, Multi-Modal World
with Ivy Esquero, Senior Manager, Global Consumer Insights, Microsoft

People all over the world are living their lives digitally—at work, at home and everywhere in between.  The division between the digital and physical worlds is becoming increasingly blurry.  Technology is fueling this new duality and is getting smarter as consumers add devices and services to augment their world.  Microsoft’s study, Digital Trends 2015, curates Microsoft’s perspective on where consumer expectations for digital are headed and illuminates the implications for brands.  Each trend tells a compelling story of consumers’ evolving relationships toward devices, platforms, apps and brands, and together, they are helping us understand the new rules around consumer digital experiences.

Ivy Esquero, Senior Manager, Global Consumer Insights

Sharing these trends with us will be Ivy Esquero, Senior Manager, Global Consumer Insights. Ivy looks to unpack the “why” behind consumer behavior and uncover the person behind the number, revealing ways to deeply engage consumers as they navigate the digital landscape.  Prior to Microsoft, Ivy was in the Global Strategic Research team at Prudential Financial, where she delved into the consumer journey to financial security and retirement.  Ivy joined Prudential from the Advertiser Solutions Group at the Nielsen Company where she served as a Research Director, advising Fortune 100 clients on optimal advertising mix and cross-channel opportunities.  Her work has been covered by major news outlets including the Wall Street Journal, CNET, Adweek and AdAge.  She started her career in the Financial Services industry focusing on marketing and analytics.
