Director of Social Media

Position Description: 
The Director of Social Media at CRAFT | Media/Digital is responsible for overseeing the Social Media Team and the execution of social media services for clients. An ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience managing social media profiles in an agency or like environment. Salary and Benefits: A competitive salary and benefits package is offered. Responsibilities: • Create, execute, manage, and delegate responsibilities for servicing client social media campaigns, community management, content, and creative • Manage social media team members and other associates responsible for project tasks • Establish internal social content creation and creative resource application • Establish external and internal client deliverable timelines, tasks, reports, schedules, and manage and meet client budgets • Create editorial calendar and conceptualize creative and copy content for social media campaigns • Create tactics for building conversations with target audiences and key influencers in client’s target market(s) • Track client social media and design metrics reports and presentations • Meet scope of work and deliverables according to the established SOW’s • Maintain strong client relationships and provide partners and VP’s with account details on a regular basis • Guide client communication on messaging specific to social media engagement • Report feedback internally on campaign effectiveness, profitability, and oversee client building • Other projects and duties as requested, directed, or assigned
Qualifications: 
• Experience in managing a team and delegating tasks • Commitment to responsiveness, confidentiality, and customer service • Proficiency with PC and/or Apple operating systems, as well as word processing, spreadsheets, and Internet browsing applications • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects and meet deadlines. Execute high quality work under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail • Professional manner and highly polished interpersonal and written communication skills • Ability to work successfully in a team environment, as well as work independently and exercise sound professional judgment • Ability to handle a variety of tasks and projects simultaneously in a creative environment Education and Training: Bachelors Degree and 3 years of relevant work experience required. Work Environment: • Work performed in an open office environment • Collaboration and interruptions are common • Client list includes right of center organizations • Daily work performed Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. • Additional hours may be required on an as needed basis
