Position Description:

We have formed deep partnerships with the world’s best digital media properties, developed a suite of groundbreaking multi-screen creative formats for brands to leverage, and built technology platforms that underpin every aspect of campaign planning, delivery, optimization and measurement.

We are seeking a results-driven Account Executive to join our growing team in DC. This solution-oriented individual will be responsible for creating partnerships across multiple campaigns and initiatives (advocacy, political, consumer and government accounts) while maximizing revenue. Successful representatives will persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Undertone’s agency partners and clients.

The Account Executive needs to understand how our various digital advertising solutions can enable advertisers to engage consumers across all devices and create custom solutions for clients while representing Undertone’s value proposition. Members of our Sales organization have the support of various teams both pre and post-sale and are dedicated to finding solutions that create success for brands we support. We continue to take an innovative, thought leadership and quality approach to everything we do.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with advertising agencies and clients in order to increase revenue through the presentation of Undertone’s services and suite of product offerings
  • Partner with Sales Planning to create proposals in response to RFPs
  • Utilize the Undertone sales methodology from proposal to close
  • Monitor clients’ campaign performance through a partnership with the Client Services team
  • Align with Marketing to organize unique partnership opportunities to maintain client relationships
  • Manage a pipeline of revenue opportunities
  • Represent Undertone’s value proposition throughout Undertone and the community

Profile and Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in media sales or relevant agency experience required
  • Experience in advocacy, political, consumer and government accounts preferred
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required
  • Ability to build a book of business and create a strong pipeline
  • Must have strong working knowledge of brands and agencies
  • Ability to effectively analyze market opportunity and pipeline
  • Willing and able to travel as needed
